Raptee.HV has begun large-scale deliveries of the Raptee T30 electric motorcycle, moving the company from years of development into the commercial stage. The Chennai-based startup spent more than seven years developing the motorcycle and its high-voltage platform before starting customer deliveries.

The Raptee T30 uses high-voltage technology commonly found in electric cars, applied here to a two-wheeler. The approach is meant to deliver steady performance and quick torque while allowing the motorcycle to connect with India’s growing public EV charging network. It also supports fast charging at home.

Chennai is the company’s first operational market. Deliveries and customer support are now active in the city. Raptee.HV plans to expand to Bengaluru in April with a dedicated showroom and service centre. The company expects to enter other South Indian state capitals later in the year and then move into western India.

The motorcycle is priced close to petrol motorcycles in the same performance segment. It comes with an eight-year battery warranty and an all-inclusive ex-showroom price.

The platform has also received recognition from the Asia Book of Records for the highest average distance covered by a production electric motorcycle and for the longest distance covered by a production electric motorcycle in India. The records highlight the real-world range capability of the T30 platform.

Dinesh Arjun, CEO & Co-Founder said: “With the commencement of large-scale customer deliveries, we’re excited to be sharing our product to a larger audience, a product that’s been 7 years in the making. This moment is built on the trust of our earliest customers, those who believed in our vision, our technology, and our team before anyone else. We carry deep gratitude for that faith, and our commitment is to honour it not just with a motorcycle, but with a seamless ownership journey from day one. We are not only delivery-ready.”
