Same Sky’s Motion & Control Group has expanded its AMT absolute encoder family with the new AMT25 series, designed to support motor shaft sizes from 9 mm to 15.875 mm (5/8 inch). It uses Same Sky’s proprietary capacitive ASIC technology.

The AMT25 absolute encoder is suitable for industrial automation companies, robotics manufacturers, CNC and machine tool builders, medical equipment makers, aerospace and defense contractors, electric motor OEMs, renewable energy systems, and packaging or material handling industries—any application that requires precise, reliable, and compact position sensing for motor control in demanding environments.

The series maintains the same durability, accuracy, and resistance to dust, dirt, and other particulates as existing AMT models. It offers 12-bit or 14-bit absolute position output and supports both single-turn and multi-turn options. Full duplex SPI communication ensures fast and accurate data transfer.
