Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has developed new graphics cards called the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT. These cards are made to give you smooth and clear gaming at a resolution called 1440p. The company unveils FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, which makes games look better and run faster on these cards. These new graphics cards are a better deal, giving you 20% more performance for your money. These new alternatives present an avenue for upgrading, enhancing, and elevating the gaming experience.

Driving the Next Era of 1440p Gaming

Leveraging the AMD RDNA 3 architecture, this iteration amalgamates compute units with integrated raytracing and artificial intelligence (AI) accelerators. It incorporates second-generation Infinity Cache and advanced raytracing capabilities, calibrated to cater to the demanding realm of 1440p gaming at frame rates surpassing 60 FPS (frames per second). It delivers a proposition in select games, rendering performance and value. Including a memory bandwidth, outpacing competitors by an impressive margin of up to 50%, ensures an immersive high-resolution gaming encounter.

Beyond gaming, its adaptability extends to AI tasks, with performance metrics doubling to meet the requirements of computation-intensive tasks. Its enhanced encoders are poised to revolutionise streaming, amplifying the streaming quality with AI enhancements that adeptly refine text even within low-bitrate streams. It fully supports the AV1 (AOMedia Video 1) codec, for video quality, accentuated by colour reproduction and dynamic visual prowess, ultimately redefining the contours of an enriching media experience.

Software Tools for Future-Ready Gaming.

The upcoming Adrenalin Edition software features HYPR-RX technology, unifying Radeon Super Resolution, Anti-Lag, and boost functionalities. It introduces the advanced Radeon Anti-Lag+ for game-specific responsiveness. The Radiance Display Engine supports DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1a, designed for ultra-high-resolution gaming and content creation, with 12-bit HDR and REC2020 Color Space for 8K clarity. The new FSR is set for 300 titles, offering enhanced visuals and frame rates.
