A compact, energy-efficient mono amplifier designed for Bluetooth speakers, surveillance systems, and handheld consoles , ideal for high-performance audio in modern electronics.

Nuvoton Technology announces the release of its latest high-efficiency Class-D audio amplifier, the NAU82110YG. Designed to meet growing demand for powerful, energy-efficient audio solutions, this compact mono amplifier is ideal for integration into Bluetooth speakers, wireless doorbells, outdoor surveillance systems, and handheld gaming consoles.
The key features are:
- Delivers up to 10W into 8Ω or 18W into 4Ω speaker loads for robust audio output
- Offers high power efficiency, ideal for battery-powered and energy-conscious applications
- Features low quiescent current of just 6 mA at 12V, minimizing energy consumption during standby or low activity
It minimizes energy consumption without compromising output quality. It also supports single-ended and differential input modes, providing flexible design options. To meet diverse design requirements, the amplifier offers 32 gain settings via I²C, and five preset gains (0/20/24/32/36 dB) through control pins. Its filter-free design uses spread-spectrum oscillator technology and slew-rate control, significantly reducing EMI. Combined with a high PSRR (>83 dB at 217 Hz) and 103 dB SNR, the NAU82110YG ensures clean, high-quality audio even in challenging environments.
The amplifier is equipped with comprehensive protection features to ensure reliable operation and device safety. These include Overcurrent Protection (OCP), Overvoltage Protection (OVP), Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), and Overtemperature Protection (OTP), safeguarding the system against common electrical faults and thermal stress.
Packaged in a compact QFN20 and rated for -40°C to 105°C, itis built for durability and performance. Its chip-enable function supports a fast start-up time of 4.6 ms, enabling seamless integration in modern, responsive electronics. With its advanced Class-D topology, the amplifier represents a leap forward in efficient, low-noise audio amplification.
