The expanded inductor line offers new options with higher performance, noise reduction, and various sizes for industries and applications.

INDUCTORS

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has announced an expansion of its inductor product lines, introducing a range of new products that offer customers more options for balancing cost and performance in their designs. The expanded portfolio simplifies the sourcing process, offering a variety of devices across different price points. The offerings include inductors with higher inductance levels, voltage ratings, and a more comprehensive selection of sizes to fit small PCB spaces.

Additionally, the expanded product line enhances noise reduction capabilities with a range of common-mode inductors, improving Vishay’s telecom, industrial, and consumer applications solutions. The new products include wireless charging inductors, shielded and semi-shielded drum core inductors, common-mode chokes, coupled inductors, trans-inductance voltage regulator inductors (TLVR), high-current ferrite impedance beads, and more.

In telecommunications, engineers can use these inductors for noise reduction, signal integrity, and power management. The industrial sector can use them in power supply designs and motor drives requiring inductance and voltage. Consumer electronics designers can apply these products for wireless charging, noise suppression, and PCB layouts in devices like smartphones and laptops. These inductors are used in electric vehicle power supplies, battery management, and in-vehicle communication systems in the automotive industry. Power supply designers can use them to improve efficiency and performance, while medical device manufacturers can use them in designs for critical applications.

“Our commitment to providing our customers with optimized cost vs performance, capacity readiness with short lead times, and breadth of product is at the forefront of this expansion,” said Mike Husman, Senior Vice President of Inductor Division at Vishay. “This ambitious undertaking will add 1800 additional SKUs across more than 70 series, further solidifying Vishay as the go-to source for inductor technology. With this product and capacity expansion, we are better positioned to meet the latest demand and continue delivering innovative solutions that support our customers’ evolving design requirements.”
