Keyence introduces the LS-7000 Series a new era of high-speed and high-accuracy measurement with advanced optical technology. Utilizing a gallium nitride (GaN) green LED, telecentric lenses, and the HL-CCD system, the series offers double the speed and accuracy of conventional micrometers. The green LED’s short wavelength and uniform light distribution ensure precision, while the motorless design enhances durability and operational reliability. Sampling rates of up to 2400 samples per second with ±0.06 μm repeatability make this series ideal for high-demand industrial applications.

The Series includes three measuring head options tailored for various needs: the LS-7070 for large-diameter measurements, the LS-7030 for standard ranges, and the LS-7010 for smaller diameters. The heads are compatible with an optional air purge unit for use in dusty or harsh environments, ensuring IP64-rated protection. The key features include:

The controller’s logging function allows direct data export to Excel, streamlining quality reporting.

The integrated CMOS monitor camera in the measuring head captures real-time images of the measurement area, enhancing usability for targets with complex shapes or transparent properties. They also supports advanced functionalities such as simultaneous diameter and eccentricity measurements, transparent object detection, and trend graphing for fibre dimensions. With a focus on reliability, accuracy, and adaptability, it is designed to meet diverse industrial measurement requirements, from precision manufacturing to rapid production lines.
