Rajguru Electronics has launched the  ADIY Pico, a compact development board from the Pi family designed to support a variety of DIY, robotics, and home automation projects. Despite its small form factor, the Pico is equipped with features that make it suitable for both beginners and advanced users.

The RP2040 microcontroller powers the Pico and offers 27 GPIO pins, four of which serve as analog inputs. It includes two UART, two SPI controllers, and two I2C controllers, along with 16 PWM channels, allowing for extensive connectivity options. The board also supports USB Type C and includes a reset button for added convenience.

  • Form factor:  21 mm × 51 mm
  • CPU: Dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ @ 133MHz
  • Memory: 264KB on-chip SRAM; 4MB on-board Flash

With 4MB of onboard flash memory, the Pico is capable of handling a range of tasks, from simple circuits to more complex projects. It works with popular development environments, including Arduino IDE, Visual Studio, and Thonny, making it easy for users to get started.

The board’s power supply is compatible with voltages between 3.3V and 5.5V, providing a flexible option for various applications. Manufactured with advanced 40nm process technology, the RP2040 microcontroller offers efficient performance with low power consumption and multiple low-power modes, ideal for battery-powered projects.

The design also includes a reset button, an onboard LED indicator, and comprehensive software support, including a software development kit (SDK), documentation, and example code. The board can be powered through micro-USB, external supplies, or batteries, making it a versatile solution for different needs.
