TDK’s latest addition to its modular power lineup pushes the limits of compact, quiet, and configurable performance. The new 1U-high, 13-output MU6 modular power supply packs up to 1500 watts into a 41 mm profile—engineered for medical, audio, industrial, and lab systems where both low noise and reliability are mission-critical.
It has an intelligent fan control system. Using a microcontroller-based algorithm, it dynamically monitors the temperature of both the main converter and each secondary output module, adjusting fan speed precisely to keep noise as low as 36 dBA even under 80% load. For hospitals, dental clinics, and professional audio setups, that means quieter environments and less operator fatigue.

The supply also inhibits and enables control across all outputs, along with current sharing capability for parallel operation, ensuring flexible integration into complex power systems.
The MU6 series carries a seven-year warranty and certifications to IEC/EN 60601-1 and 62368-1 standards, plus compliance with CE, UKCA, EMC, and RoHS directives. It also meets EN 55011-B and EN 55032-B for radiated and conducted emissions.
