ACEL Power has introduced the marine industry’s first factory-integrated HD camera in an electric outboard system. Now standard in all Intelligent Electric Series outboards, the built-in camera provides real-time video, diagnostics, and security data—removing the need for extra hardware or aftermarket installations.

The camera operates as part of the outboard system, giving boaters and commercial operators direct access to live video, AI-based detection, and remote monitoring tools. This integration is aimed at improving visibility and safety without complicating setup or use.

Key features include a Sony 2 MP CMOS sensor capable of full-color imaging in low-light conditions (0.05 lux) and black-and-white capture down to 0.01 lux. It records in 1080p at 30 fps and uses image enhancement tools like digital wide dynamic range (WDR), 2D/3D noise reduction, and glare handling to keep visuals clear.

AI functions built into the camera support motion detection, intrusion alerts, face recognition, and privacy masking. These analytics run directly on the device, requiring no cloud processing. H.265+ video compression helps reduce network load, while an SD slot enables up to 256 GB of local loop recording.

For connectivity, the camera supports dual-band Wi-Fi, optional 4G CAT 4 mobile access, and GPS/BeiDou for location tracking and geotagged alerts. Users can access live video through a web browser—no plug-ins needed.

The camera is designed for harsh marine conditions. It measures 38 × 38 mm, uses only 1.2 W of power, and comes in a rugged, saltwater-resistant housing engineered by ACEL to handle vibration and weather exposure.
