The memory connectivity platform is a solution that uses CXL 1.1 and 2.0 technologies to enable memory extension, pooling, and sharing. It stands as the industry’s first purpose-built solution that offers end-to-end security protections, powerful fleet management tools, server-grade customisable Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS), as well as seamless compatibility with top Central Processing Unit (CPU) and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), and memory suppliers.
The company claims the memory connectivity platform seamlessly interoperates with primary CPU, GPU, and memory vendors, ensuring compatibility and flexibility. With a low-latency data path, it offers a scalable and flexible memory interface. The platform addresses the demanding computational requirements of generative AI workloads with low latency, such as chatGPT. By allowing for the installation of up to 2TB of extra memory per CPU, it addresses the issues with memory bandwidth and capacity restrictions.
