Based on advanced infrared sensor technologies, the device has a high sensitivity to distant subtler heat sources. Thanks to the ultra-low power consumption of only 70mW under the working conditions of 60Hz digital output (compared to 220mW by similar products), the thermal imaging camera has long battery life.

There are as many as 20 million transistors on a high-end detector, enabling heat capture of faraway objects and converting it into a signal to form a thermal image. Due to the physical lack of the thermal lens and the unevenness of the image, the integrated algorithm enhances the original thermal image to realise the visibility and feasibility of object recognition. Besides, it also compensates for the blind pixels that appear in the imaging process. Therefore, the final thermal image will show more contrast and completeness.

The Matrix III algorithm developed by InfiRay not only realises the above-mentioned functions but also details and definition processing based on thermal imaging.
