Trouble with powders or deep bins? This probe shows clear signals, works in many places, and helps avoid problems. Find out more!

BinMaster’s VRX vibrating probe series offers quick status indication, durable construction, and flexible mounting options—making it a reliable alternative to rotary level indicators in industries such as agriculture, mining, plastics, cement, and food processing. These sensors are built for dependable point-level detection of powders and bulk solids, even in demanding environments.
Each VRX probe features a highly visible status light that changes from green to red when material covers the probe. This provides operators with a clear, instant visual cue, helping to confirm sensor performance, spot issues early, reduce errors, and improve communication and efficiency across operations.
The VRX operates using a piezoelectric element to create vibration. When material comes into contact with the probe, the vibration stops. This action triggers a DPDT relay that signals either a “full” or “empty” condition. These probes are designed for high accuracy and low maintenance and are particularly effective with light, low-dielectric, or hard-to-detect materials. They also resist material buildup, helping to ensure long-term performance.
All VRX probes are housed in the rugged red casing for use in harsh industrial environments. Standard probe models are available with either 1-1/2″ or 1-1/4″ NPT mounting options. The VRX21 is a compact model featuring a 7.37″ sword-style blade, ideal for use in bins and hoppers. The VRX31 is a sanitary version equipped with a 2″ tri-clover fitting, making it suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications. The VRX61 is built to withstand high temperatures up to 500°F.
The extended VRX models offer solutions for deep vessels and more demanding applications. The VRX41 includes a rigid pipe extension up to 13 feet, making it well-suited for deep bins and chute plugging detection. The VRX51 uses a flexible cable extension that reaches up to 19 feet and is designed to handle impact from falling materials without damage. For extreme temperature environments, the VRX71 is the model of choice.
The VRX series delivers the performance, visibility, and versatility required for modern level measurement needs—helping operators maintain control, reduce downtime, and ensure process reliability in a wide range of industries.
