Job Description
- Detailed hardware board bring-up and reporting as per system specifications.
- Design, develop, and commission custom test systems to accelerate V&V of products.
- Develop test jigs using open-source hardware like Raspberry Pi/Arduino for endurance test automation
- Excellent test specification and report-making skills with Microsoft Word/LaTeX, with technical depth in content writing.
- Act as a good team player, helping the team to come up with frugal and reliable solutions.
- Liaison with production facility, EMS and external suppliers for developing EOL procedures.
- Interface with SW and system engineers to understand the system aspects and derive boundary test cases for electronics hardware.
- Determine the design limits of individual hardware blocks like power supply, CAN, MOSFET drives etc., for worst-case operating scenarios.
- Develop Internal Engineering Standards for Electrical, Environmental and Mechanical test specific to Exicom Mobility products based on global ISO/IEC/CISPR standards.
- Apply knowledge of industry-acclaimed tools like Python/Matlab for data collection, segmentation and analytics specific to electronic hardware to suggest design improvements.

Skills Required
- Proficient in the basics of Electronic Circuit tracing. Familiar with schematic design tools like OrCAD Capture, Circuit simulation using LTSpice/PSpice.
- Experience with 16/32-bit microcontroller HW powered by ARM Cortex / PowerPC architectures.
- Basic understanding on power supply testing, Analogue and Digital Circuit characteristics, and interfacing of peripherals with microcontrollers
- Hands-on experience in HW level EMI/ EMC debugging and compliance test execution is a plus
- Should have handled V&V cycle end-to-end for at least 1 product at established organisations
- Highly independent, analytical, self-believer, focusing on core knowledge & innovative thinking.
