EDA is a central organisation in TI responsible for developing, deploying and supporting EDA methodology, tools, flows and solutions for worldwide TI Businesses. The EDA solutions span across different domains of IC development, covering IP and SoC development. The team supports all Analogue and Embedded business groups across worldwide sites. The team’s charter includes defining differentiated solutions by defining and developing in-house tools, flows and methodologies, augmenting the tools available from EDA vendors. The team enables business teams to succeed with best PPA and faster time-to-market deliveries.
As an Analogue EDA Lead in the team, you will be working on the below EDA solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams within EDA and internal customers and stakeholders in IP and SoC design teams to define, evaluate, and ensure support new EDA solutions
- Collaborate with vendors (Cadence, Synopsys, etc.) in technical tool evaluations, intersect TI methodologies with vendor roadmaps and offer best solutions to worldwide TI teams.
- Interface between TI ATD teams, TI Foundry services team and external Foundry customers towards successful TI PDKs usage in Foundry design executions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field of study
- 4-8 years of relevant EDA/CAD experience combined with a passion for automation
- 2-3 years of technical lead experience in Analogue Frontend
Preferred Qualifications
- Good CMOS circuits basics, analogue circuit simulation and layout experience
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive to results
- Skills to manage time, delegate and multi-task at work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mentoring and experience with people management will be added advantage

Preferred Skills/ Experience
- 4-8 years of experience in EDA/CAD in Backend Analog Design Tools (Virtuoso, Layout, DRC, LVS, Extraction, Basic simulation, etc )
- Prior experience in interfacing with EDA vendors towards flow evaluations, licensing and roadmap definitions
- Prior experience in programming languages and technologies as needed for projects: Python, TCL, Cadence SKILL, Unix, Shell programming, etc.
- Optional: AI/ML solutions, Compute infrastructure, Data management
