Sandisk has launched a new line-up of portable solid state drives (SSD) in India. It includes the SANDISK Portable SSD and SANDISK Extreme Portable SSD.
The faster Extreme SSD provides speeds of up to 2000MB/s, designed for users who deal with large image and video files. Based on internal testing, it enables users to transfer 1000 high resolution images within 60 seconds. It also features IP65 water and dust resistance, drop protection of up to 3 metres, and 256-bit AES hardware encryption. It features up to 4TB of storage space and a limited 5-year warranty.
The standard Portable SSD which can be used on a day-to-day basis, offers speeds of up to 1000MB/s making it perfect for backing up your files, storing photos, videos or transferring personal data. It also provides 500GB, 1TB and 2TB of storage and has up to 2m drop resistance. Limited warranty of 3 years.
