As an Audio Quality Assurance Engineer, you will drive QA activities for their audio products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and quality. You will play a critical role in the evaluation and validation processes during the development stages. This position requires a keen ear for audio quality, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to End Audio QA activities, including comprehensive manual testing, to validate audio performance.
- Utilise sophisticated and specialized audio measurement equipment to assess and ensure the quality of our audio systems.
- Conduct active listening sessions to evaluate the audio quality of our devices and provide detailed feedback.
- Create detailed test plans and strategies to guide the QA process throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Schedule, execute, and delegate test runs, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to timelines.
- File high-quality bug reports to facilitate efficient debugging and resolution of audio-related issues.
- Actively manage and triage reported issues, participating in root cause analysis and defect resolution.
- Use internal development tools to extract logs and other relevant data from systems under test.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with audio hardware and software development.
- Familiarity with programming languages and scripting for test automation is a plus.
- Knowledge of audio codecs, DSP, and related technologies.
