The Department Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned department. This includes managing staff schedules, monitoring sales performance, ensuring product availability and merchandising standards, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The role involves tracking key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, and coordinating with other departments to meet store-wide goals. The Department Manager will also handle basic administrative tasks, support training and development of team members, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or electronics department management, with strong skills in team supervision and performance monitoring.
- Ability to manage daily operations, including inventory handling, merchandising, and basic administrative tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for reporting and coordination.
- Ability to work on-site in Indore and be available for a full-time schedule, including weekends or extended hours as needed.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in electronics retail or familiarity with consumer electronics products is an advantage.
