As an optical engineer focused on Optical Transponder optical integration and oDVT (optical design verification test), you will play a crucial role ensuring the optical performance and quality.
Your responsibilities
- Integrate optical modules into optical line cards and ensure optical performance.
- Collaborate with the XF team to improve performance.
- Develop and implement test routines to evaluate key performance for coherent line modules.
- Create technical documentation, including test plans, test procedures and test reports.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Optical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Must have worked on optical line card/systems
- Must have experience in optical integration and testing of coherent module/transponders
- Proven experience in testing and integration, particularly with optical transponders or related components.
- Familiarity with optical characterization equipment and measurement techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex optical systems.
