Knowledge
- Ability to research parts, assemblies, schematics, and electrical drawings for parts & assemblies
- Experience in Electronics manufacturing processes & functional acceptance testing
- Hands-on experience in resolving manufacturing, quality and yield-related issues for commodities like PCBA, Cables, Transformers etc.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610/620 standards (preferable IPC certified CIS)
- Utilisation of various estimating tools such as CCA cost model (PCBA costing spreadsheet) & Lytica for standard components to complete the detailed cost estimates.
- Develop and maintain Should Cost Models for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Finished Goods (FG) assemblies such as Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
- Ability to identify key cost drivers & suggest alternate low-cost manufacturing solutions
- Exposure to Value Engineering concepts.
- Have basic knowledge of finance and program management concepts and tools.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively Communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organisation and different operating environments.
