As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimise, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world-class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Job Description
- Strong hands‑on experience in Physical Design flow including floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, and physical verification
- Good understanding of timing closure using PrimeTime/Tempus across setup/hold, OCV/POCV, clocking, and STA signoff
- Experience working on advanced technology nodes and IP‑level PD delivery, including block ownership from netlist‑to‑GDS
- Ability to debug and resolve timing, congestion, DRC/LVS, EM/IR, and integration‑related issues
- Experience with leading EDA tools for PD and signoff (place & route, STA, physical verification)
- Familiarity with Mixed‑Signal / High‑speed IPs and ability to collaborate closely with FE, CAD, STA, and signoff teams
- Working knowledge of Tcl/Python scripting for flow automation, analysis, and debug efficiency
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple programs under tight schedules
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset, with ability to drive closure across cross‑functional stakeholders
