Role involves end-to-end 2nd Level technical support for the issues arising in Managed Services Customers’ cellular network also require extended support to the Front Office in fault management issues and responsible for the next level of restoration!

You will be Responsible for

  • Overall System Administration of Ericsson OSS-RC/ENM and multivendor EMS/NMS
  • Integration of Radio & Core Network Nodes with OSS.
  • End to end troubleshooting for the issues related to OSS Platform, Fault Management, User Management, Software/Hardware Management, STS Management, and OSS applications i.e. C.N.A., OPS, CHA, ARNE, RNO, SMO, BSM, and Element Manager.
  • Integration of Radio & Core Network Nodes with OSS.
  • Perform release upgrades on live OSS Servers and roll-out.
  • Trouble Ticket /Change Request handling as per SLA/WLA.
  • Customer Service Requests (CSR) handling (Analysis, Troubleshooting, and Corrective Maintenance) for the complex faults.
  • To handle emergencies and on-call support (24X7).
  • Solution Management for Customized Business Object – Templates / Reports.
  • Co-ordination with GSDC/PDU/PLM.
  • Coordination with external suppliers for 3PP Hardware Support.
  • Administrator level experience in Business Objects, Citrix or similar tools
  • Knowledge in ENIQ & Sybase IQ

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience on OSS domain.
  • Should have good knowledge & understanding of GSM / WCDMA.
  • Good Knowledge & Skills on System Administration of OSS RC.
  • Preferably hands-on experience of Integration & Commissioning of OSS RC.
  • Good Knowledge & Understanding of SUN Solaris/UNIX (Preferably SUN Certified), TCP IP, Networking & Sybase environment
  • Should have good knowledge & understanding of Support Processes.
  • Should be customer oriented.
  • Should work well under time constraints.
  • Should have good oral & written communication skills.
  • Should actively contribute to improvements and changes.

Key Qualification

Education: Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent

Experience: 2 years.
