You will play a supportive role in the complete lifecycle of PCB hardware development, from concept to creation. This position offers hands-on experience in schematic design, component selection, and board bring-up, providing a strong foundation in creating robust and efficient electronic circuits for our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schematic Design Support: Assist senior engineers in creating, reviewing, and updating electronic schematics for digital and analog circuits.
  • Component Selection: Research and identify suitable electronic components (e.g., microcontrollers, power ICs, sensors, connectors) based on performance, cost, and availability requirements.
  • Library and BOM Management: Help create and maintain schematic symbol libraries and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for various projects.
  • Board Bring-Up & Testing: Participate in the initial power-up and functional testing of new PCB prototypes. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging hardware issues using lab equipment.
  • Prototyping & Rework: Perform basic soldering and rework on PCBs to implement design changes or fix issues found during testing.
  • Design Documentation: Contribute to the creation of essential design documents, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, or a related field (Final or Pre-final year).
  • Circuit Fundamentals: Solid understanding of fundamental analog and digital electronics, including op-amps, transistors, logic gates, and microcontroller architecture.
  • Component Knowledge: Familiarity with common electronic components and their basic characteristics.
  • Design Tools: Basic experience with a schematic capture tool (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD/Cadence Allegro, KiCad).
  • Lab Skills: Hands-on experience using standard lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

  • Experience with PCB layout design.
  • Proficient soldering skills (both through-hole and surface-mount components).
  • Familiarity with common communication protocols like SPI, I2C, and UART.
