Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and testing of robotic subsystems across platforms
- Work with ROS / ROS2 to build, run, and debug robot software components
- Assist in sensor integration and calibration: LiDAR, cameras, IMU, and GPS
- Set up and run simulation and field tests for navigation, perception, and control algorithms
- Collect, organise, and analyse test data to evaluate robot behaviour
- Help reproduce, diagnose, and document failures observed in testing
- Document workflows, configurations, and results systematically
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to support simulation-to-reality transfer
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pursuing a B.Tech or M.Tech in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, ECE, or a related field
- Basic understanding of the ROS / ROS2 framework
- Programming proficiency in Python and/or C++
- Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and basic control concepts
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with simulation platforms such as Gazebo
- Exposure to SLAM, localisation, or navigation
- Understanding of sensor fusion concepts
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git / GitHub)
- Prior project or competition work involving robots or autonomous systems
Eligibility and Background Requirements
- Please apply only if you are currently in the final year of your degree programme.
- You must be available for a full, year-long internship of 12 months; shorter durations cannot be considered.
- This is an on-site internship based in Pune, India.
- Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in robotics through projects, competitions, or coursework.
