Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify and source suppliers for semiconductor components including ICs, sensors, and modules
2. Research and procure Arduino, Raspberry Pi kits, and DIY electronics components
3. Evaluate and shortlist PCB manufacturing and assembly vendors
4. Compare pricing, MOQ, lead time, and quality across platforms such as IndiaMART, Alibaba, AliExpress, LCSC, Mouser, and DigiKey
5. Communicate with vendors via WhatsApp, email, and platform-based chats to initiate and manage procurement discussions
6. Prepare structured comparison sheets covering pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability
7. Negotiate basic pricing terms and delivery schedules with vendors
8. Track orders and ensure timely follow-ups with suppliers
9. Maintain procurement databases and generate reports for tracking and analysis
