Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop evaluation kits and reference designs for new MCUs, including schematic design, PCB layout, and prototype testing
- Design schematic using Cadence, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications
- Bring up and test MCU boards, including debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and system engineering, for integration of evaluation kits with overall system
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, datasheets, and test reports
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality design and reliability of evaluation kits
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve reference designs and development
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and communication Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1~3 years of experience in hardware design and development
- Proficiency in Cadence schematic design tools, including OrCAD and Allegro
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design principles
- Strong understanding of basic serial communication protocols, and extended communication protocols such as SMIF, SDIO, CAN, MIPI, etc.
- Strong understanding on power supply and motor control designs.
- Experience with bring-up and testing, including debugging of hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
