Q. What does your company, NeoSapien, do, and what is your core product?

A. At NeoSapien, we are building the world’s first AI wearable that truly understands its users. Our device captures conversations, transcribes them, and builds a personalised knowledge graph based on relationships, facts, and interactions. It understands who users speak to, what they discuss, and how those conversations evolve over time.

Q. How does your device understand different people in conversations?

A. Our technology is built on advanced speaker diarisation and voice fingerprinting. The device identifies who is speaking and connects speech to the correct individual with high accuracy. Over time, it builds a relationship graph that maps how users are connected to others, enabling it to retrieve context from past conversations and continuously improve its intelligence.

Q. How does a user start using the device after purchase?

A. After purchase, users receive the device along with accessories and a QR code to download the app. The app guides users through a simple, step-by-step setup process. Once connected, the device captures conversations, creates structured memories, and allows users to save or organise them easily.

Q. How does NeoSapien protect user privacy despite always-on data capture?

A. Privacy is central to our design. The system is fully encrypted, access-controlled, and built to strict security standards. Users retain full control over their data and can decide what to share and with whom. We do not access or use user data for training, and we are working towards SOC 2 compliance. We believe privacy should be transparent and user-controlled.

Q. What makes your technology different from other AI meeting tools?

A. Most meeting note tools are limited to scheduled online meetings and do not understand real-world conversations or build deep context. NeoSapien uses a proprietary knowledge graph algorithm to map relationships and build what we call a second brain. The system delivers high speaker accuracy, including for Indic languages. It does not just generate notes; it understands priorities, relationships, and context to provide intelligent insights.

Q. What kind of accuracy does your device provide?

A. We have achieved 98.26% speaker accuracy, including for Indic languages. Our numerical accuracy stands at 91.59%. These figures are based on recent internal evaluations and indicate competitive performance among conversational AI wearables globally.

Q. How much data can the device store?

A. Raw audio is transcribed and not stored persistently; only the transcription is retained. Transcribed data is significantly lighter than audio files, enabling efficient long-term storage without large space requirements.

Q. Can you explain your patented technology?

A. We have been granted a patent for our AI Coach capability. Based on conversations and daily interactions, the device can provide proactive guidance. For example, it can suggest discussion points for upcoming meetings or detect stress patterns in conversations and recommend ways to manage them. This transforms the device from a passive note-taker into an intelligent coach.

Q. What is the cost of the device, and what support do you provide?

A. The device is priced at ₹12000 and includes a two-year warranty. The companion app is free, with no subscription expiry. Users also receive onboarding resources, including a detailed support guide and videos to help them integrate the device easily.

Q. Who is your primary target audience?

A. Our most engaged users are business owners, entrepreneurs, journalists, and busy professionals. They handle multiple meetings, calls, and in-person interactions daily. NeoSapien helps them capture, organise, and retrieve important information effortlessly across all conversation types.

Q. Is your hardware and software developed in-house?

A. We are an indigenous Indian start-up headquartered in Bengaluru. Design and final quality control are handled in-house, while selected vendors support component manufacturing. Final assembly and quality checks are conducted under our supervision.

Q. How many employees does your company have?

A. We have a team of 11 employees, including experienced professionals from companies such as Razorpay, Zalando, and Ather Energy, with expertise spanning hardware, AI, product, and growth.

Q. What challenges did you face while building this product?

A. Building original hardware in India remains challenging, particularly in a market dominated by white-labelled products. We bootstrapped 60–70% of our journey and developed early prototypes independently, including assembling components ourselves. Generating visibility was another challenge, but early traction was built organically. We later received investment support, including from Sameer Mehta of boAt.

Q. What are your future plans?

A. We plan to continue developing high-performance ambient AI wearables. We are also working on licensing our Neo OS to larger hardware manufacturers. In addition, we are expanding into B2B solutions, particularly in sales intelligence, where on-field teams can automatically capture accurate CRM insights without manual entry.

Q. What happens if the device is lost or stolen?

A. The device is linked to the user’s email and voice fingerprint. Without authentication, stored memories cannot be accessed. This ensures data security even if the hardware is misplaced.

Q. What are your current revenue sources?

A. Revenue currently comes from device sales and B2B partnerships, with strong growth in India and increasing interest from international markets.
