More GPUs now support a new upscaling feature. The update also adds game support and fixes reported issues.

AMD has released Software 26.6.2, bringing FSR 4.1 upscaling support to Radeon RX 7000 series (RDNA 3) graphics cards. The update is designed to deliver improved image quality and performance compared to community-developed FSR 4 modifications for RDNA 3 hardware. AMD says it has extensively tested the technology across multiple RDNA 3 configurations and confirmed compatibility with more than 300 games.
The latest driver also adds support for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations. In addition, AMD has fixed an intermittent application crash or driver timeout issue reported in RoadCraft on Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs. Another fix addresses a purple-screen problem that could occur when using the HP Reverb G2 headset with SteamVR on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards.
Several known issues remain. AMD is investigating intermittent crashes and driver timeouts in Battlefield 6 on systems powered by Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processors and is working with the game developer on a fix. Some users may also encounter texture flickering or corruption in Battlefield 6 when AMD Record and Stream is enabled. On Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs, AMD FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation may appear inactive in AMD Software despite being enabled in the game.
The company also notes that installation of AI Bundle components may fail in regions where access to Hugging Face and GitHub is restricted. Meanwhile, Radeon RX 7000 series and newer graphics cards may experience model flickering, rendering issues, or application crashes in Blender and Maxon Cinema 4D. AMD recommends affected users install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1 as a temporary workaround.
