A layered defence system that combines multiple sensors and autonomous interception to spot, track and stop hostile drones before they reach critical infrastructure.
OptiValue Tek has launched SENTINEL DOME, an AI driven Counter Unmanned Aircraft System designed to protect critical infrastructure from unauthorized and hostile drones. The platform combines multiple sensing technologies with autonomous interception to detect, identify, track and neutralize aerial threats in real time across high security environments.
The increasing use of drones in commercial and industrial applications has also created new security challenges. Airports, power plants, oil and gas facilities, defence installations and government sites are vulnerable to unauthorized surveillance, smuggling, operational disruption and other airborne threats. Conventional surveillance systems often struggle to detect small, fast moving drones, creating a need for dedicated counter drone solutions.
SENTINEL DOME addresses this challenge through a layered defence architecture built around detection, identification, decision making and neutralization. The system integrates AESA radar, RF detection, Electro Optical and Infrared cameras, and acoustic sensors to provide continuous 360 degree surveillance. AI enabled sensor fusion combines information from these sources to classify threats, prioritize targets and support faster decision making.
Once a drone is identified as a threat, the platform follows a complete operational workflow covering detection, classification, authorization, interception, neutralization and reporting. It can also deploy autonomous interceptor drones to stop hostile aircraft. To extend surveillance coverage, the system includes a tethered Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance drone that can monitor areas within a radius of up to five kilometres.
