Xellier Networks, pronounced as ZAY-llier, is an India based company that aims to provide intelligent security systems for homes and small businesses
When we think of security, we think of CCTV cameras across a space and maybe a room with a bunch of TV screens and a guy navigating across those screens to identify anything suspicious. This has been the case for a long time, but with the advancement of technology, there comes a change in demand as well as expectations. People nowadays expect technology to be smart and efficient in multiple ways.

Xellier Networks is a Bengaluru based manufacturer of artificial intelligence (AI) cameras that provides intelligent security solutions which are more reliable than traditional security systems. Bigger companies can afford professionals to monitor 10-20 live feeds on a big TV screen, but the smaller companies cannot opt for the same. It (the traditional security method) is physically very tiring, and at the end, you cannot hold the person accountable in case he missed anything.

Xellier Networks is basically a parent company. “Xellier stands for Excellence in Engaging Radios,” says Robinson Jose, Co-Founder and CEO at Xellier Networks. The product is commercialised under the name of Inxense, an abbreviation for Intelligent Senses, which is the company’s B2C brand.
Inxense’s Epic Cam provides an ideal solution for the vision based security system that detects, interprets the scene, and then alerts the user. Epic Cam is a wireless AI camera that consists of a multimodal sensor interface. Which means that the system works using a fusion of multiple different sensors, mainly for vision and audio, and with a thermal sensor as well.
The system consists of an app that can be used for accessing cameras remotely. The app provides all necessary tools to view all detected events and to manage all deployed cameras. Storage is a huge concern nowadays, and when it comes to video data it exceeds a limit. Storage is managed conveniently between the onboard memory and cloud storage services. Customers can easily choose between available options—from 7 days upto 90 days of storage.
The AI mechanism records any motion detected by the camera and various sensors. This mechanism is also responsible for communicating with the cloud that stores all the video data and notifies the user or manager through the mobile application. The system will send an alert to the user along with the high resolution photo within two to three seconds, wherever the manager is in the world.
The product has a backup battery added to it, which turns on in case of power cut-off. These variable features of the camera make it an intelligent and a reliable product.
Xellier Networks developed Epic Cam in-house, from concept to manufacturing. After three years of designing, developing, and testing a versatile product, it began commercialising it in April 2022. Xellier Networks focuses on the Indian market, although it welcomes opportunities to expand around the world. Robinson Jose says, “We are focusing on strengthening our technology and making it more robust.”
