Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Hardware Engineer with 3 to 5 years of industry experience to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in hardware design, embedded systems, and testing, with proficiency in tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD. This role demands strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for designing cutting-edge hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems including circuit boards, microprocessors, and embedded systems.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, mechanical) for system integration.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and offer technical recommendations on hardware architecture.
  • Debug, validate, and test hardware to ensure it meets performance and reliability standards.
  • Optimize hardware for power efficiency, thermal management, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including BOMs, design files, and version control records.
  • Work with manufacturing teams and vendors on component selection, procurement, and production support.
  • Investigate and resolve field or production issues with a problem-solving approach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development.

Must-have Skills

  • Proficiency in hardware design tools (Altium, Cadence, OrCAD).
  • Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGA development.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards, signal integrity, and hardware debugging.
  • Experience using test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers.
  • Knowledge of low-power and high-speed design techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IoT, wireless protocols like BLE, Wi-Fi, and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
  • Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability).
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes and production support environments.
