The series targets electronics engineers and product designers in industrial automation, HVAC systems, welding machinery, power tools, and rugged electronic controls, offering compact, reliable, and high-accuracy calibration solutions.
The trimmers can support these industries by providing resilience, simplifying manufacturing, improving device longevity, and ensuring consistent performance. The company details show that for manufacturers, the series supports direct PCB mounting and automated calibration, enabling faster, cost-efficient production. The company claims that compared to previous generations, the new series features a 42% smaller case size, enabling tighter printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, higher package density, and dual-sided mounting.
Its durable design is ideal for smoke detectors, and other consumer electronics requiring long-term precision. IP67 sealing ensures protection against dust, moisture, and standard board washing, while the 4 mm × 4 mm footprint and an extended operating temperature range of -55 °C to +140 °C make it suitable under adversities.
Engineers can fine-tune circuits across a 10 Ω to 1 MΩ resistance range, benefiting from the multi-turn design and improved setting-to-time ratio compared to single-turn trimmers. Rated at 0.25 W at +85 °C, the series is available in top and side adjustment styles, offering flexibility for diverse design needs.
