In this role, you will partner with focused TE Connectivity Customers within, High performance Communication and Wireless, Networking, Compute and the IoT markets.

The FAE will serve as a technical resource for our customers’ engineers and program / platform managers by providing technical expertise, design work, product application information, and general support for strategic customers.

The Digital Data Networks Business Unit provides connectivity and integrated systems solutions to customers primarily within the Data Center, Data Communications, Wireless, Consumer Electronics and IoT markets, but also in broader markets such as Industrial or Appliances.
In this opportunity, you will work closely with TE Connectivity’s customers, serving as a technical lead resource for direct customers. You will be supporting engineers and program/platform managers by providing technical expertise, design work, product application information, and general support.
You will be a significant interface between TE Connectivity’s sales and engineering organizations and our customers.
This role will report to the FAE Manager and will be based ideally in North/West of India preferably Delhi/Pune covering several strategic customers and distribution customers.
Job Requirements
- Identifying opportunities for new products to be developed based on customer applications
- Conducting Voice of the Customer (VOC) sessions with customers to determine requirements for new development & design in TE Product activities. Concepting and design work on new products based on requirements gathered in VOC sessions.
- Contribute to develop new technologies, translate them in customer solutions and drive projects in collaboration with internal team’s forwards toward a WIN.
- Acting as the customer interface and an internal core team leader during the execution of new product development projects to ensure customer requirements and timelines are met. Including NPI (New Product Introduction) phase.
- Understanding the portfolio of existing products that can be used in customer applications
- Understanding opportunities for TE Connectivity to move beyond traditional connectivity products and offer system-level solutions to customers.
- Understanding industry standards that apply to customers and their products (i.e., IEC, UL, etc.)
- Assessing technical complaints from customers and working with the TE Connectivity engineering & quality team to provide solutions.
- Identifying future industry trends and working with Product Management function to develop product and technology roadmaps.
- Working closely with the Account Manager responsible for the region translating opportunities into a technical and commercial win.
- Being accountable for Pipeline growth (identification and conversion) across the responsible customer.
Candidate Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field required (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Connectivity experience and understanding of electronics manufacturing processes desired
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working directly with customers in a technical setting (At least 3-6 years)
- Knowledge of general manufacturing processes of stamping, molding, plating, and automated product assembly desired.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and step up to the challenge.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with exceptional listening skills.
- Ability to work as a global member of a customer facing team to identify new opportunities.
- Ability to work with global internal project teams.
- Analytical and structured thinking with a creative ability to work towards targets and identify / pursue new business opportunities.
