Role Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Hardware Designer to design, develop, and validate electronic hardware for embedded systems, industrial devices, and related engineering platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in analog/digital electronics, PCB design, hardware debugging, and system integration.
- Experience in ATE (Automated Test Equipment) design and development is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Design & Development
- Design analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits for embedded and industrial applications.
- Develop schematics, select components, and create reusable hardware modules.
- Perform PCB layout (or work with layout engineers) ensuring signal integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Develop power‑supply circuits, sensor interfaces, communication interfaces, and protection circuitry.
Hardware Validation & Debugging
- Lead hardware bring‑up, testing, and troubleshooting using instruments such as:
- Oscilloscope
- Logic analyser
- Multimeter
- Power analyser
- Validate interfaces and subsystems (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485, Ethernet, analog channels, etc.).
- Perform root-cause analysis for hardware failures and drive corrective actions.
Documentation & Quality
- Prepare detailed engineering documents including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and release packets.
- Ensure hardware complies with internal standards, EMI/EMC guidelines, and safety best practices.
- Support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability).
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Support prototype builds, vendor coordination, and pre‑production reviews.
- Provide hardware support during system integration and product lifecycle phases.
