Main Purpose
- To provide technical promotion/ support for products represented & distributed by Unified to our clients
- To create value for Unified Product Basket to increase market share and revenue in your defined territory.
Reporting To: Product Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Support Unified’s Business through prospecting, qualification, and product design-in, design-win, and Production Win efforts to drive sales growth.
- Create and manage the accounts for demand creation activity in the region for Industrial Accounts.
- Provide technical support to identify new applications, understand ongoing projects, and make product/Solution recommendations.
- Support the clientele with technical details and product samples for DWIN activities.
- Should be able to interact, diagnose and troubleshoot with Design (R&D), and Product Engineering and support technical and operational issues or customer-reported complaints in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and sales meets with OEMs regarding demand creation.
- Organising joint visits with OEMs and customers
- Should organise the training, webinars, and Tech days for customers.
- Work with the sales team in response to NBO’s progress on the project.
- Should be supportive of the branch office’s priorities and requirements.
- Develop relationships within target companies through cold calls, site visits, and leveraging existing networking relationships.
- Should strive to be a regional subject matter expert on Unified Products and domains.
- Prepare and present technical demos and Benchmarking exercises when necessary.
- Own the technical response to customer RFQs.
- Update customers on new product information & record responses.
- Call end users, visit Key accounts/customers to understand needs & complaints, provide technical information & support & suggestion solutions, and prepare proposals to meet needs and overcome objections.
- Qualify opportunities and close the sale.
- Record all information and maintain updated information in companies CRM system.
- Travel 50% – 70% of your office time.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s/B-Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Communications Engg/ Instrumentation)
- Minimum of 4-10 years’ experience in technical marketing.
