- This is a position based in Chennai, India with 100% of field work.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the installation and service support of Nordson Matrix AXI.
- Among other things, it will involve:
- Customer relationship management for these customers.
- Service and application support of customers in the assigned territory.
- Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
- Planning and Scheduling the servicing work in advance so the output of the factory is not affected.
- Working on Preventative Maintenance activities and field modifications.
- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
- Maintaining daily communications with customers and Nordson management to ensure resolution with proper follow-up.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
- Submitting detailed daily reports on all the work that is done on each machine.
- Ensuring that all the parts needed for customers are planned.
- Maintain attendance log and submit it on time for billing.
- Required to work on shift basis.
Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics Preferred, Electrical or Instrumentation also will be considered)
- Candidates with diploma can also be eligible if their experience is highly relevant to our requirement.
Experience
- Around 0-3 years in the installation and customer support of high-value capital equipment.
- At least 1 year of the above experience should have been in the Southern part of India.
