Key Responsibilities
- Design RF and high-speed PCBs using Cadence Allegro and OrCAD
- Create detailed schematics, component placement, and PCB routing
- Ensure signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and thermal performance across designs
- Apply best practices for RF layout, impedance control, and high-speed signaling
- Prepare and release manufacturing outputs including Gerber files, BOMs, pick-and-place files, and assembly drawings
- Coordinate with hardware, RF, and manufacturing teams for design reviews and issue resolution
- Support PCB fabrication, assembly, and bring-up activities
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in RF and high-speed PCB design
- Strong proficiency in Cadence Allegro and OrCAD
- Good understanding of impedance matching, RF layout rules, and high-speed design constraints
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, stack-ups, DFM/DFA rules
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and reference designs
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience working on multi-layer PCBs
- Familiarity with defence or industrial electronics standards
- Exposure to EMI/EMC considerations
- Basic understanding of hardware testing and debugging
