The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical / Electronics Engineer to own electronics development across the entire lifecycle including PCB design, embedded programming, R&D testing, assembly, and production support for our automated robotic food kiosks. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who enjoys building real products, iterating fast, and taking designs from prototype to deployment.

Key Responsibility

  • Design schematics and multi-layer PCBs for embedded and power electronics
  • Select electronic components considering performance, availability, and cost
  • Design power distribution, motor control, sensor interfaces, and safety circuits
  • Programming and debugging STM microcontrollers for system control and peripheral interfacing is a plus

R&D & Testing

  • Build and test early prototypes for new subsystems and features
  • Validate designs through functional, stress, and reliability testing
  • Debug hardware and firmware interactions and resolve electrical issues
  • Implement and tune basic control systems including open-loop and simple closed-loop control

Assembly & Production

  • Oversee PCB assembly, wiring, routing, and panel integration
  • Create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly instructions for production
  • Support pilot builds and scale designs for small-batch and mass production
  • Work closely with vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly

System Integration

  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for end-to-end system integration
  • Ensure electrical safety, reliability, and compliance with internal standards

Requirements

  • Strong fundamentals in electronics and electrical engineering
  • Experience designing schematics and PCBs using Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with STM microcontrollers such as STM32 or STM8 is a plus
  • Proficiency with MCU peripherals including GPIO, ADC, PWM, UART, I2C, and SPI
  • Understanding of power electronics, motor drivers, and sensor interfaces
  • Working knowledge of control systems including feedback loops and basic PID concepts
  • Comfortable with soldering, rework, testing, and debugging hardware
  • Ability to take ownership from concept to prototype to production
