ASUS has introduced a new range of enterprise servers powered by AMD’s sixth-generation EPYC 9006 processors. The portfolio includes dual-socket and single-socket systems designed to support AI inference, cloud computing, virtualisation, storage and other compute-intensive enterprise workloads.

The lineup is divided into two server families to address different deployment needs. The dual-socket RS700A/720A series targets high-performance computing environments by offering greater compute density for AI inference and complex simulations. The single-socket RS500A/520A series focuses on space-constrained deployments, delivering enterprise performance in a chassis less than 800mm deep while reducing infrastructure footprint and power requirements.

Both server families support PCIe 6.0, high-speed MRDIMM memory and E3.S storage to improve bandwidth and storage scalability for data-intensive applications. The shared platform architecture also allows organisations to simplify deployment and maintenance across different server configurations.

The company has also integrated several proprietary engineering features aimed at improving system reliability and operational efficiency. The servers use a modular DC-MHS architecture that separates I/O, storage, cooling and high-power modules to simplify servicing and accelerate system upgrades. The company’s DIMM.2 design relocates M.2 SSDs to a cooler section of the system to reduce thermal throttling, while Thermal Radar 3.0 dynamically adjusts fan speeds based on real-time operating conditions. Tool-less maintenance further reduces service time and helps maximise system uptime.
