What if your e-bike could warn you before a crash? A system lets bikes and vehicles exchange alerts to help avoid collisions.

Autotalks has introduced a new range of V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) products for e-bikes and e-scooters to help reduce collisions involving cyclists and other vulnerable road users. The products aim to improve communication between vehicles and micromobility devices so that drivers and riders can detect each other earlier, especially in busy urban traffic and at intersections.
The new lineup includes TEKTON3-BIKE, a third-generation system-on-chip (SoC) designed for integration into e-bikes and e-scooters. Based on the company’s automotive V2X chipset, it is adapted for micromobility applications and supports collision prevention by enabling vehicles and bikes to exchange safety information in real time.
The chipset comes with built-in V2X firmware designed for cycling use cases, including Intersection Collision Warning (ICW) and Rear Collision Warning (RCW). It also supports security features, global compatibility, and allows manufacturers to customize and expand safety functions while reducing development effort.
Alongside the chipset, the company has launched ZooZ3, a handlebar-mounted V2X safety device for bicycles and scooters that can be installed on existing vehicles to provide real-time collision alerts. It has also introduced the ZooZ App, which displays these alerts on a smartphone screen, while the actual V2X communication is handled by dedicated hardware on the bicycle or scooter.
