Enabling extended ethernet and PoE reach beyond traditional distances delivering uninterrupted flexible data
Here’s presenting a robust Power over Ethernet (PoE) extender series that allows network connectivity up to 610 metres over one standard, twisted 4-pair copper cable. Paired with a transmitter and a receiver, the PoE Extender solution eliminates costs of additional labour and extra product pieces while also providing deployment flexibility for IP devices.
Reaching up to 2,000 feet, the extenders deliver uninterrupted data from switch to IP device supporting Multicast, Unicast and Broadcast, offering more than triple the distance of normal 100-metre data transfer from one host to the next.
“The goal is to eliminate current obstacles by providing an opportunity for customers to save money as well as a simple-to-install product for long reach limitations,” said Sri Senthamara, product manager at Panduit.
Targeting enterprise areas such as office buildings, hospitals, schools and parking lots, and IP devices such as security cameras, the PoE extender series is now available from Panduit Corp.
