There are really many variants, among the classic diodes we find semiconductors with rectangular and round lenses (diameter from 1.65mm to 5mm). SMD elements are available in practically every housing variant from 0402 to 3735, as well as more specialized PLCC2, PLCC4, and PLLC6. The range of diodes covers almost all wavelengths, from ultraviolet, through the visible spectrum, to infrared. It is also worth mentioning that the diodes are also available in two or three-color versions. Thanks to such an extensive offer from Broadcom, it is easy to find a diode that fits the designed solution, with a specific color, angle of illumination, or power.
Optocouplers
The manufacturer also provides optocouplers, which like LED diodes, are available in two mounting variants SMD and THT, divided into specific types of housings. Among the characteristic features of these optoelectronic elements, we can highlight excellent galvanic isolation (up to even 5000Vrms) and resistance to electromagnetic interference. These elements can be 1-, 2-, or 4-channel with analog or digital output. It is also worth mentioning that Broadcom offers both standard components dedicated to simple applications, as well as fast models designed for data transmission at speeds up to 25Mbps and more. LED Displays
Among the displays produced by Broadcom, we find classic seven-segment designs in various sizes and colors.
