Digital transformation of industry, the development of artificial intelligence and the popularization of the Internet of Things (IoT) are radically changing the way data is processed and stored. Brand Goodram, the only computer memory manufacturer in the European Union, presents products adapted to modern challenges.
Industrial and server-class memories differ from consumer solutions in every aspect: they offer a a wider operating temperature range, higher durability, more stable firmware, and precise quality control (not only at the production stage, but also through access to usage statistics). Their task is to ensure uninterrupted operation 24/7 and guarantee data integrity under all conditions – regardless of, whether they are part of a production line, autonomous vehicle, or a server in a data center.
The global SSD market is expected to reach $35 billion by 2025, and to exceed 70 billion by the end of the Decades. The fastest growth is recorded in the AI, edge computing, automation and data centers, where media reliability is critical to secure operations.
In Europe, there is a growing emphasis on local Semiconductors manufacturing, a Wilk Elektronik S.A., owner of the brands Goodram Industrial and Goodram Enterprise, is the only computer memory manufacturer in the European Union. Offers solutions designed, assembled and tested in Poland. This is a real advantage at a time, when supply chain stability is becoming a critical component of technology strategy.
This supplier’s products are available directly from TME’s warehouses – and the following are the most important of these solutions.
In this article, we cover topics such as:
- Specifics of carriers made for industrial use
- Typical quality and durability testing
- The advantages of Goodram memory related to their European production
- Increased durability of SD cards, microSD, etc.
- Specific features of industrial SSDs
- Characteristics of SSDs used in server rooms
- DRAM memory suitable for uninterrupted operation

Goodram Industrial and Enterprise Solutions
In a world, where any interruption in service means real losses, memory is no longer an auxiliary component – it is an investment in continuity of operations and data security. Goodram Industrial and Goodram Enterprise solutions combine European quality, local manufacturing and configuration flexibility. That’s why they are the choice of engineers and managers responsible for infrastructure reliability, from production lines to data centers.
Tests and qualifications – confidence in performance under all conditions
Goodram Industrial products undergo detailed environmental qualifications, including in:
- temperature tests (from -40°C to 85°C),
- vibration and shock tests,
- verification of parameter stability over a long life cycle.
As a result, they offer predictable operation in mission-critical applications.
European quality and engineering support
Manufacturing in Poland ensures full quality control and customization of firmware, configurations and mechanical protections according to OEM customers’ requirements.
For industrial and defense customers, other advantages of local manufacturing will be key here:
- security of supply,
- compliance with European standards,
- fast access to support technical support and qualifications.
Industrial FLASH memories

Industrial grade FLASH memories are based on NAND chips with improved quality and durability. Industrial applications often use pSLC mode (pseudo-Single Level Cell), in which only one bit per cell is written. This allows to increase the number of write cycles up to ten times that of TLC memory. Technologies such as wear leveling or bad block management evenly distribute data and eliminate bad blocks, and error correction codes ECC/LDPC maintain data integrity even after years of operation in harsh environments.
SSDs for industrial applications
SSDs in industrial versions are an extension of the FLASH memory concept with a controller and data management software. They can be equipped with PLP function (Power Loss Protection), which allows data to be safely stored in case of power loss, and with a protective coating Conformal Coating, that protects the electronic circuit from moisture and corrosion. Depending on the target application, customers can opt for devices additionally supported by technologies Underfill i Corner Bond, that increase solder resistance to vibration and shock.

Above are the Goodram SSD formats available from the TME offering.
Such solutions allow stable operation over a wide temperature range: from -40°C to 85°C – as well as in environments with increased humidity or dust. In addition, the firmware of industrial drives often includes profiles that limit throttling, through which a stable read/write speeds and predictable response times (an important feature in real-time systems).
Enterprise SSDs

Enterprise-class drives are designed for server applications, where the following are key stability, predictability and scalability. Modern models support PCIe interface 5. generation and NVMe protocol 2.3, offering speeds exceeding 10GB/s at high energy efficiency.
Enterprise product specifications detail such parameters as DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) – the number of full disk writes per daily cycle – and QoS (Quality of Service), i.e. performance uniformity. Such drives can also support technology ZNS (Zoned Namespace), which reduces NAND wear through better management of write cycles.
In the server segment, the following are becoming increasingly important new disk formats, EDSFF (E1.S, E3.S, E3.L), enabling higher media density, better cooling and easier service.
Industrial DRAM Memory Modules
Industrial DRAM memory modules are designed for 24/7 continuous operation and can be used in Automation, transportation systems, military or medical, where reliability is critical.

Application ECC error correction increases data security and reduces the risk of system failure. It is worth mentioning, that industrial-grade DDR5 memory offers higher bandwidth and lower power consumption than previous generations.
From TME’s offering, such memories are available in DIMM and SODIMM formats, with capacities from 2GB to 32GB.
