Key Responsibilities

1. To test and verify the performance of TFT and LCD Display, Telematics and Modem as per the functional specification, implicit industry standards, and design standards. 
2. To Test, collect, and analyse the test results and communicate to the design team. Work closely with design engineers to solve any issues. 
3. To Plan, identify, and procure the necessary test equipment according to the testing requirements.
4. To prepare the test plan, procedures and test reports are a must. 
5. Shall manage lab equipment, handling and calibration. 
6. Conduct product safety/ performance tests on Electronic & Electrical products according to standards or testing methods/SOPs 
7. Develop a risk-based test strategy, plan test procedures and author test cases based on PRD, Field Failures and DFMEA documents.

Ideal Candidate

1. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering 
2. 2 to 4 years of related industry experience with electrical and electronics, with a focus on medium power 3-phase equipment. 
3. Knowledge on testing different types of automotive display, modem and telematics units is desirable.
4. Requirement Analysis, Test Case Writing, Test case Execution, Defect Reporting 
5. Candidates having experience in test Automation using LabVIEW, Arduino or other programming languages are preferred. 
6. Perform Electrical/Electronic products sample Prepare samples & test plan and conduct test programs as per prescribed testing methods/ Test Request Form, standards/specifications. 
7. Support & conduct testing according to relevant standards. Prepare test data sheets & reports 
8. Follow & Oversee for Testing Integrity, test-data/record Accuracy and equipment used for test. Consumable use, if req. 
9. Provide feedback to the Manager/ Mgmt regarding processes and recommendations for improvements.
10. Ability to work with team engineers and to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
11. Knowledge & Aptitude for testing of Electronics /laboratory instruments/manufacturing sector. Hands-on testing experience is a must. 
12. Working knowledge of AIS test standards relating to electronics products. 
13. Understanding of product Electromagnetic Compliance testing requirements would be an advantage
14. Capability to plan ahead & Flexibility to perform multiple tasks. 
15. Shall be able to read and understand the specifications, drawings and schematics. 
16. Knowledge of test equipment like CRO, AC/DC Source, Power Analyzers, transformers, Multimeters, Data loggers etc. 
17. Good understanding of analogue and digital circuits, power electronics circuits. 
18. Effective coordination with internal & external resources towards work completion
19. Computer proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
