Industrial devices face space and security limits. This processor fits more power in less space and keeps systems safe. See more.

Industrial devices often face tight space constraints, complex PCB layouts, and strict cybersecurity requirements. The MA35D16AJ87C microprocessor from Nuvoton addresses these issues by combining processing power, compact design, and built-in security for industrial applications.
It comes in a compact BGA312 package with 512 MB of DDR SDRAM stacked inside. This reduces PCB footprint, lowers electromagnetic interference (EMI), and simplifies board design, making it suitable for space-constrained environments such as factory automation, industrial IoT, new energy systems, smart buildings, and smart cities.
The processor combines dual 64-bit Arm Cortex-A35 cores with a Cortex-M4 real-time core. It supports 1080p display output with graphics acceleration and integrates a wide range of peripherals: 17 UARTs, 4 CAN-FD interfaces, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 SDIO 3.0 interfaces, and 2 USB 2.0 ports. These features address diverse industrial requirements.
For IoT security, the microprocessor integrates Nuvoton’s independent Trusted Secure Island (TSI) hardware security module. It supports Arm TrustZone, Secure Boot, Tamper Detection, and a full hardware cryptographic engine suite. A true random number generator (TRNG) and key store are included, helping systems comply with international cybersecurity standards such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and IEC 62443.
The processor is supported by the company’s Linux and RTOS platforms and is compatible with graphics libraries including Qt, emWin, and LVGL, enabling faster development cycles and lower costs. Targeted for industrial-grade applications, the MA35 Series comes with a 10-year product supply commitment.
