 Introducing the elSoM-5EV, a next-generation ARM Cortex-A53 based System-on-Module (SoM) expertly crafted by ELDAAS Technologies to revolutionize embedded solutions for a diverse range of applications. At its core, it integrates a robust Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC (XCZU5EV) chipset. Its high-speed board-to-board Amphenol connectors allow seamless integration with carrier cards and support a spectrum of I/O options, adapting easily to custom requirements.

  • Dual-core ARM Cortex-R5F for real-time tasks
  • Mali 400 MP2 GPU for integrated graphics
  • Built-in H.264/H.265 Video Codec Unit (VCU) for video processing
  • Dedicated CNN Processor Unit (DPU) for AI acceleration

Memory configurations are generous, offering up to 8GB DDR4 for processing and 4GB for programmable logic, complemented by eMMC storage of up to 32GB and QSPI flash for quick boot and data access. The module is compact (94mm x 63mm), supports multiple high-speed interfaces, and operates within an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C1.

The heterogeneous multiprocessing structure ensures powerful parallel and real-time processing, making the elSoM-5EV uniquely suited for demanding embedded, AI, and video processing applications. Its broad and fast I/O capabilities—such as GTR and GTH lanes up to 12.5Gbps—enable seamless data flow for applications like smart vision, surveillance, image manipulation, human-machine interface, and interactive displays. The industrial-grade build and multiple compatible variants give developers flexibility, scalability, and rapid time-to-market, as the module can be quickly adapted for custom hardware solutions without long development delays.
