Roles and Responsibilities
- Experience: 2 to 4 years
- Basic Qualifications: Minimum qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical (ECE, EEE, etc.) /Instrumentation (I&C etc.) /Computer Science, M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Science) or equivalent from a reputed institution and a minimum of first class.
- Domain: Any Embedded Technology, Aerospace/avionics/space preferred.
- Operating System: Linux/Windows.
Description
Good understanding of FPGA hardware design, development, qualification and certification process and related standards. Full FGPA design cycle involving architecture definition, RTL coding, simulation, timing analysis, synthesis, place & route, verification and on-board testing is essential. Understanding DO-254 based process and system engineering life cycle or equivalent including documentation will be required, hands-on experience will be plus.
Programming
- Hands-on work experience in VHDL design coding, debugging, simulation and testing.
- Good understanding of FPGA design considerations including synchronous and asynchronous timing requirements and FPGA resource utilization.
- Experience with scripting languages for tool automation and for FPGA validation.
Tools
Candidate should have good hands-on work experience and knowledge on tools for all phases of development of FPGA engineering life cycle including requirements, design, simulation, debugging, verification and testing. Hands on experience in libero IDE and Questasim /ModelSim is a must. Experience in Xilinx Vivado and Vitis will be an advantage.
Platform – Processors / Interfaces: Good working knowledge of Microsemi FPGA family is a must and ZCU Boards.
Others: Client interaction, good communication and presentation skills.
