You will own the end-to-end PCB design lifecycle from conceptualisation through production release: ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and compliant designs for high-volume smart metering devices.
Key Skills & Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on PCB design experience, including high-density, multi-layered boards for RF/IoT/meters.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more EDA/CAD tools: Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro, KiCad, EasyEDA.
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC, RF module integration, GSM/NB-IoT/4G, and communication standards in meter designs.
- Practical experience applying DFM/DFA principles and preparing databases for manufacturing.
- Experience working with compliance, safety, and quality standards in high-volume electronics.
- Effective documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Communications Engineering or a related field.
